About Dr. Carla King

Dr. Carla Lynette King is a board certified pediatrician with almost two decades of experience.  She has taken care of infants, children and young adults in a community health center, private practice as well as in the hospital setting.  She enjoys educating families to improve the health of their children.  She has particular interest in newborn care and pediatric mental health services.  She has taken extra training in pediatric mental health to improve access to good mental health care for all children. 

After years of working in a variety of settings, Dr. King decided to open her own practice to provide care to children where the family is the center.  She has a desire to walk alongside families helping them make the best health care decisions for their children.  As a working mother she understands the difficulty of managing a busy schedule and is excited to provide families  with options for providing care.  Out of the Box Medical will provide that personalized care that your family deserves.  We give your family options from traditional in office care, telehealth as well as concierge services where care can be provided inside your home.
